This combination is the classic engagement diamond solitaire. The round brilliant is mathematically designed to give the most sparkle and brilliance of all cuts. Fancies are available in different colors and shades.  Because of the celebrity connection, pink diamonds are especially popular, and therefore expensive; the more popular baby pink and bubble gum pink shades are much pricier than paler pink hues.  But if you really want to own a fancy diamond affordably, you should look for other colors as well as less popular shades of pink to find something to match your budget.  In particular, black, chocolate, champagne and yellow are very popular colors, and blue diamond jewelry is also comparatively affordable these days.
